The 5th Conference of the European Federation for Information Technology in Agriculture, Food and Environment and the 3rd World Congress on Computers in Agriculture and Natural Resources, will be happen on 25-28 of July, in the Universidade de Tras-os-Montes e Alto Douro, Vila Real (Portugal). This Event will be organized by The European Federation for Information Technology in Agriculture, Food and Environment (EFITA) and with the collaboration of the Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD) and the Associacao Portuguesa para o Desenvolvimento das Tecnologias da Informacao e Comunicacao na Agricultura (APDTICA). The Conference is intended as an international forum for agriculture related professionals to exchange information on applications and developments in the use of Information Technologies. Contributions from several countries will alow a proadened perspective for all attending. The organising Committee is particulary keen to encourage participation from the New Member States of the EU and from the Canditate Countries (Turkey, Bulgaria and Romania. This Conference will provide these countries the opportunity to meet fellow researches from all over Europe and initiate contacts which may lead to collabotarive projects.
