Who we are
SUSTALDE Foundation is a non profit-making organisation created in 2001 with the aim of promoting sustainable rural development through the development, establishment and dissemination of New Technologies. SUSTALDE develops its activities at local and international level, promoting initiatives to improve the quality of life and competitiveness of rural areas.
The activities that carry out SUSTALDE include the promotion and participation in co-operation and technological development projects and technical assistance, dissemination and public rising awareness actions. These activities are directed to enterprises, Public Institutions and rural area stakeholders that take part in the development of rural areas.
SUSTALDE has several members and collaborators with a wide experience in rural area that contribute to attain its objectives. At the same time, Fundación SUSTALDE participates in the World Rural Forum (WRF) and in the Network of Latin American and European Areas for Rural Development (RURALE). These initiatives allow to exchange ideas, to create synergies and participate in joint iniciatives.
